Fun Fact: This week in History: Watson and Crick publish DNA structure

Molecular Structure of Nucleic Acids: A Structure for Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid was published in Nature on April 2, 1953. In the article, Watson and Crick proposed the now famous double helix as the structure for DNA.

Since that time, inquiry into DNA has absolutely exploded and led us into our current era of gene sequencing and genomics.
