RJS Bio has created a series of Doxorubicin regents that can be used for tethering native proteins. Using the SPECTROstar Nano, they want to compare the cytotoxic effects of free doxorubicin to affinity labeled doxorubicin (RJS-001) on a lymphoma cell line. The SPECTROstar Nano would be used for DNA and Protein quantitation, as well as cell migration/invasion assays and reporter gene assays to further analyze the pathway of interest. “The immediate goal of this project is to develop the functionality of the tethered Doxorubicin candidate molecules and to determine the ability of native protein transport systems to deliver these reagents into cells.”
